Using professional procedures, we ensure the idetification of the most deserving candidates.

The decision for the admission of candidates for training has to be taken by the relevant institutions on merit basis. Applying candidates for scholarship approach A.D. Trust, clarify their socio economic background. Considering this as well as the recommendation of their relevant training organization the Board of Trustees decides on the scholarships.
          A training for nurses durates about three years. The amount of the training cost varies from institution to institution. In an average, according to our experience, it comes up to 30 to 40 Thousand Indian rupees. First year swallows almost half of the total cost for three years. The Trust decides on the amount of scholarship considering its’ available funds, the requirements of the training institution as well as the socio economic background of the candidates.
          An agreement is to be signed by the scholarship holder, A.D. Trust and the training institution. In this contract the scholarship holder agrees to reimburse the scholarship amount to the Trust in installments according to their capacity as soon as they earn income. This is according to the principle of help towards self-help and considered as sharing solidarity of the scholarship holders with their co-sisters in deserving situation.
          A.D. Trust conducts reflection meetings with the scholarship holders for learning, mutual sharing, clarifying values as well as to contribute for rendering effective service. We also counsel them in the identification of employment chances.
